Carol Williams 5K Set for September 25th

The Cougar XC program will be hosting the 3rd Annual Carol Williams 5k Run and 1.5 Mile Walk next Saturday, September 25th, beginning at 7:30 am. The team hopes to draw at least 300 runners and walkers. Carol Williams was a Kempner science teacher who died in a car accident. The race has been held in her honor since 2002. Awards will be given to the overall male and female, the masters (40 and up) male and female, and to the top 3 in each age category. The 5k race will be electronically timed using ChampionChip technology.
