Sugar Land Turket Trot was perfect

The 2004 Turket Trot turned out to be one of the best ever. The weather at the starting line was clear and 45 degrees. Many of the 796 runners and walkers had fantastic performances. The race was won be Kempner XC-ex J.P. Machemehl in a blistering 25:31 for five miles. Senior Chris Pine won his age group with 29:45. V-Rod placed third inn her age group just ahead of Elizabeth Westlake and Amy Machemehl. It was a great way to test the teams' post cross country season fitness level.
