Itinerary for the Carl Lewis Invitational

Tomorrow we will leave KHS at 10:00am. Please be prepared to drive yourself if you want to leave early. We should arrive at the UH campus around 10:45am.
11:50am Boys Distance Medley Relay
1:40pm Girls Mile
2:00pm Boys Mile
4:20pm Girls 800m
4:40pm Boys 800m
7:00pm Boys 3000m

We will leave UH around 7:30pm if the meet is running on time. It usually runs a little late. Plan on being back to KHS between 8:15pm and 8:45pm. The entry fee is $10 per athlete so bring cash or a check. You may want to bring lunch/snack or some money for food. They have a concession stand and there are a Wendy's and McDonald's within walking distance from the track. We can also drive somewhere if there is time.

Track Season on its way!

Five Cougars will compete in the Carl Lewis Invitational this Saturday at the University of Houston's Yeoman Field House. For meet information click here. Seniors Eric Sheppard, Veronica Rodriguez, Chris Pine and Elijah Theus as well as sophomore Allen Livingston will be competing in their first track meet of the year.

Pine is coming off a great performance at the Aramco Houston Half Marathon with a time of 1 hour 20 minutes over the 13.1 mile course. The boys will run a distance medley relay as well as other open distance events. Veronica Rodriguez is scheduled to run the open 800 meters and mile run.
