HBU Results

Houston (Oct. 10) - It was a beautiful afternoon at the HBU campus. Races were run on a flat course comprised of 1,000 meter (1k) loops. David Koistinen and Abel Simie finished in the top ten of the 4k varsity boys race placing 6th and 8th respectively. The varsity girls were led by Hiba Kreidie and Katherine Toy in the 3k race placing 22nd and 23rd respectively with freshman standout Jaclyn Amadio only 30 seconds behind. Future Cougar Ana Koistinen placed 5th in the girl's middle school race. Click here for complete results. A couple of name corrections from the varsity girls race:

- Liliana Rocha should be Jaclyn Amadio
- Macy Ramos should be Maria Briceno

The Coogs will be heading up to Spring for their final regular season meet on Friday, Oct. 17. That same evening will also be Kempner's homecoming football game versus Austin at Mercer Stadium.

HBU Meet

KXC will be competing at Houston Baptist University this coming Friday, Oct. 10. Click here for directions to HBU from Kempner. It will be a tri-meet consisting of middle school, high school, and college teams. The middle school events will precede the high school races, and the college races will follow. The race schedule is as follows:
