That's all folks...

The season ended last Saturday at the regional meet in north Houston. The state meet is tomorrow in Roundrock and the weather is much hotter than normal. The seaon ended on a good note. Six out of seven girls ran their best times of the year. The girls finished one place higher than last year which shows improvement. The girls also showed how strong they will be next year if they train hard between now and November 3rd of 2007. We obviously want to try to win district again but we also want to see how close we can get to Roundrock if not qualify. Our goal has been identified but do we have a plan to reach it?

I'd like to thank all the parents who supported us through the year; Mr. Koistinen who is responsible for the pictures you see on this site and hundreds of others I have yet to post; Mr. and Mrs. Westlake who provided Gatorade and cold towells to the runners after every race; the Ysais, the Toys, the Deitricks, the Giffords, the Hamptons, Donna Cleghorn who hosted the pasta party this year and was very helpful throughout the season, I know I am not naming everyone who did sooooo much for us this year but if you were not mentioned THANK YOU too. We would not be so successful without you all. We are going to miss all of you who are graduating with your kids.
