News

Next week we will meet at Sugar Land Middle School at the gazebo between the school and the baseball fields. The veterans will know where. I am including a link to the Impact a Hero 5k if you want more information about tomorrow's race.

The following week we will meet at Sugar Lakes Park at Hwy 90 and Bayview. There is not much parking so get there early or you will have to park across the street. There is a lot of construction also so you might want to plan to leave a little early from home to get there on time.

Thanks so much to the Koistinens who have provided breakfast for us the last two mornings. We will do the pancake breakfast on Tuesday every week as usual.

The t-shirts were ordered this morning. I am waiting on the design so I can approve it but the shirts should be ready by June 15th if everything goes smoothly.

This Sunday we will meet a Kempner to caravan to Terry Hershey Park for a 7am long run. The run will be 1 hour and on trails for the most part. It might be muddy so bring a towel and an extra pair of socks.

It is extremely important that you are drinking water all day long and getting plenty of sleep each night. Sleep is MORE IMPORTANT than the running. You will only digress if you run and do not get enough rest. Please be in bed before midnight.

Monster Mileage Summer

We had a great start to our summer training program this morning with 30 people in attendance. Everyone needs to make it every day. Several already have shared their vacation plans with me, please continue to keep me informed through the email link on this page.

Remember ALL running needs to be logged into Flotracker to be counted for the Monster Mileage Summer. If you do not have a Flotracker Account email me so I can send you an invitation. Please also remember to drink plenty of water all day long as it will continue to get hotter and more humid as the summer progresses.
