Regional Championships this Saturday

The varstiy girls and boys cross country teams will travel to North Harris County Community College this Saturday to run for a shot at qualifying for the state championships. The teams' goals are to improve on last years palces of 15th for the girls and 20th for the boys. The boys team also wants to try and beat district rival Austin. All of the girls team ran last year and are only missing Kempner graduate Veronica Rodriguez. Here's how the ladies finished last year:

If the teams go out there and finish higher than last year, score a lower team total and beat last year's times it will prove that Kempner Cross Country is headed in the right direction.

The girls race at 11:00am and the boys at 11:30.
